Periodically, we need to collect items from home to re-use in the art room. Some examples might include: empty egg cartons, paper towel & toilet paper rolls, empty water bottles, or washed and cleaned bottle caps.
Periodically, we need to collect items from home to re-use in the art room. Some examples might include: empty egg cartons, paper towel & toilet paper rolls, empty water bottles, or washed and cleaned bottle caps.
Right now, Mrs. Nielsen is on the hunt for a very specific item... empty gelato containers! They are watertight, and the perfect size to hold our liquid watercolor paint. So if you happen to LOVE gelato and you purchase the Talenti brand, please have your student drop off the washed container and lid to the art room. (Or, if you've never had it before, try some as a special treat-- you'll thank me :)

The art room is also searching for bubble wrap! Bubble wrap is an amazing printing tool used to create texture in art. Happen to have some lying around after your latest package delivery? If so, have your favorite Pleasant Hill artist drop it by the art room anytime :) Thank you!
