Welcome to Ms. Hyrndas' Ag Class! Together we will explore that there's more to agriculture than just farming!

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. From a young age, I was involved with 4H and rode horses competitively. At the age of 12, I joined a competitive riding team and at 15 I started the sport of rowing. Rowing led me to West Virginia University (WVU) where I was on the women's varsity rowing team. Along with playing a collegiate sport, I worked at the WVU equine research farm. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management and a minor in Equine Management. After college, I lived in Kentucky for six months working in the racing industry. In Kentucky, I gained hands-on experience with racehorses (foals, yearlings, and active racehorses). While in Kentucky I completed a stellar program called The Kentucky Equine Management Internship. After Kentucky, I moved to North Carolina and began my teaching career.
