Welcome to Mrs. Cartwright's Ag class! My class explores the relationships between natural resources and agriculture. This year my students have explored renewable & nonrenewable resources, air & water quality, soils, forestry, alternative energy, and conservation practices. I am passionate about environmental education and delivering hands-on lessons. My students are often engaged in lab work, projects, and other hands-on learning experiences. 

This is my sixth year teaching and my third year at CCMS. I have a bachelor's degree from UNC-Wilmington. My past work experience includes working with a children's science center, summer camps, several non-profit organizations, and other areas of youth development. I also serve on the board of a local non-profit that provides outdoor experiences to children with disabilities or severe illnesses.
