Each student in a Middle School CTE course takes the Career Cluster Survey assessment and The O'net interest profile The data we collect from these assessments helps them identify their work-related interests and what careers they may want to explore. This information assists the students and school personnel with selecting courses and pathways based on their possible career interests. Knowing what they enjoy and what may be a good fit for them allows us to provide field trip opportunities where they can explore career options through hands on activities. We take several field trips throughout the year covering several of the career clusters and many career pathways that are offered through the CCHS, JPKnapp and COA.
