          Securely Access Cardinal Station applications with Duo Multi-Factor Authentication

Cardinal Station is a crucial portal that grants access to applications for essential university services and personal information. To enhance security and protect your account from unauthorized access, we have implemented Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Duo MFA adds an extra layer of defense by requiring a secondary verification step during login. This quick guide will walk you through the simple steps to use Duo MFA to log into Cardinal Station Applications securely.

Step 1: Enroll in Duo MFA if you haven't already

Before you can use Duo MFA to access Cardinal Station, you must first enroll your account. Visit the enrollment page or follow the link provided to get started. You will be prompted to choose a second-factor device and configure it for authentication.

Step 2: Logging into Cardinal Station Applications

Once enrolled, the login process to Cardinal Station Applications will include the following steps:

1. Navigate to Cardinal Station at https://cardinalstation.catholic.edu/ .

2. Click on the duo enabled application you want to use (example: Cardinal Financials, Cardinal Faculty and Staff). (Cardinal students does not require DUO at this time)

3. Enter your Cardinal Station username and password on the application login page as usual.

4. After entering your credentials, click enter and you will receive a Duo Push. 

  a. Duo Push: Receive a push notification on your mobile device. Simply tap "Approve" to authenticate.
