Students have been invited to engage in food processing ventures such as preparation & sale of pickle, jam, squash, pappad, etc. in the college campus under the CTTE label. Preparation and processing to be done in the College: Annexe building-Bakery unit room.
Campus Internship Opportunities are thrown open to interested students under the Scheme, “ Ekalavya”. The internship will be in the nature of supporting the activities of clubs, cells, associations, administrative office functioning in the college. The objectives of the scheme are Skill training, Capacity building, Digital empowerment and Employability enhancement.
This venture is registered under Udyam scheme by Ms. Uma Mageshwari J, III B.Com(G), offering digital services like Aadhaar Correction, Pan card Registration, Pan card Correction, Registration of Driving license and Professional Exam registration.
The CTTE College has signed an MOU with Ms. Uma Mageshwari J, III B.Com(G) on September 23, 2021. Ms. Uma has designed an E-commerce website named HERCRAFT and it will be her online venture.
Through this site, students of CTTE can get an exposure of selling through an online platform.
The E-Commerce website sells products such as Art and Handicraft products and commercial products like Soap, Dish washing liquid, Perfumes etc.

Create opportunity for students to be sellers
Enhance students’ skill or capacity of making handicraft products
Give an idea about online trading to students
Keep students’ abreast of current issues and trends on online trade
Give hands-on experience on online platform
College canteens can play an important role in influencing healthy food habits, not only through what is on offer but also how they are promoted, and having a young alumna on board would help promote this cause immensely. There is one more objective in asking a former student to run the space: encouraging students to learn the ropes of entrepreneurship.
G. Vasantha Priya, who graduated from the commerce department in 2020, was chosen after a round of interview from among the five alumnae that expressed interest in running the canteen.
Students certified by KVIC in bakery products making, engage in baking cakes, biscuits, muffins, pastries hygienically, pack them neatly and sell them in the campus. Two ovens were purchased by the ED Cell, electricity is provided free of cost to the interested students.
The campus retail store run by the students, sells stationery items, accessories and other handicraft items made by the students. Stupreneurs make the best of the opportunity during break hours and after class hours.
