The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of CTTE College for Women in collaboration with the ICT Academy organized an“Aspiring Entrepreneurship Programme” on 04th June 2021. This was an introductory webinar for the students who enrolled themselves for Phase I. It was a 4-hour program, divided into 4 sessions, and expert personalities were invited to give an entrepreneurial cum motivational talk to the students.
Session 01: -MR. SUNIL BORAH
Mr. Sunil Borah, the Senior Trainer of the ICT Academy, was the first person on board. He welcomed the batch of students who sprightly enrolled themselves for the programme. He introduced the audience, to the ICT Academy and its operations and then expressed his gratitude for all the Sponsors of the programme. He then briefly explained the Course’s objective, its stages and the outcome after each level. He concluded his speech by spelling out all the benefits that the students will reap, after finishing the entire course.
Session 02: - V PATTABHI RAM
Mr. V.Pattabhiram, CA, Author and Teacher at Prime Academy, began the session. He took the audience through the meaning of Entrepreneurship and its Types. The most interesting part of his session was, he explained the salient qualities of an entrepreneur by showing pictures of various successful Entrepreneurs. He asked the students to guess and then revealed the Entrepreneur and what qualities he possesses that should be learnt and applied by every to be Entrepreneur. He then replied to the questions of the students and also shared his personal experiences with them. Overall, his session was like an incredible 1st chapter towards learning Entrepreneurship.
Session 03: - MR.RAJ PRABAKAR
Mr. Raj Prabakar, Chief Executive Officer, FYMC was the next person on board. His session was the next level of the previous session. He brought in and expounded more about the Application of the Idea and Beginning of the Business. His session was concerned with How to Move the idea forward, how to consolidate the required resources, how to manage Human Resources, How to Overhaul and Re-Equip the existing business to make it survive the changing environment and so on. After his presentation, he asked the audience to share with him the Business Ideas that are inside them and suggested inputs to make it prosper. Overall, it was a session of Deep Introspection of our Business Ideas.
Session04: - DR R. SUBRAMANIAN
Dr. R.Subramanian, Founder and CEO of MindBiz was the final expert of this Phase I. He briefly explained to the audience about “START-UP INDIA”. The objective was to inform the students about various opportunities available, epically for the procurement of Finance, under this Scheme, proposed by the Government of India. He also showed the trending business startup ideas and encircled through the various options of fund management. This session was a higher-level learning towards beginning a business and choices of Financial Availabilities.
STUDENTS’ PERSPECTIVE
The students felt it was a great opportunity for all of them to get to know about Entrepreneurship and the Startups from scratch to the higher-level advanced concepts. They felt the session was comprehensive and packed with all the essential concepts and the knowledge that should be known and understood by all the becoming entrepreneurs. They felt, the session also made them realise their ideas and served them to become future leaders.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of our college in collaboration with IEDP - EDII Hub, University of Madras, jointly organized a webinar on the topic “Design Thinking” on 19th June 2021.
The Resource person of the programme was Mr. Vinoth Malaikani, Incubation Scientist, University College of Engineering, BIT Campus, Anna University, Trichy. He explained the meaning of Design Thinking, detailed its concepts with a lively presentation and made all the tortuous process, very lucid to learn.
He construed the 5 stages of Design Thinking, i.e Empathy, Define, Ideation and its techniques, Prototype and Testing.
He also made the participants go through some case studies and gave them practical exposure. At the end of the session, he gave some tasks for the students to practice, so that they can get more insight into Design Thinking. It was an interactive session with participants clearing their doubts and queries with the resource person. The participants felt that the session was great for them to understand Design Thinking and its techniques, that gave them enough confidence to bloom their Startups.

7 Day workshop,“Entrepreneurship & Innovation as Career Opportunity” was organized from August 7, 2021 to August 14, 2021. The topics for the workshop were Day 1-Entrepreneurship & Innovation 3600 Perspective, Day 2-An Overview of Digital Entrepreneurship, Day 3-Rural entrepreneurship, Day4-Career Enrichment through Intrapreneurship, Day 5- Scope of Social Entrepreneurship,Day 6- Women Entrepreneurship &Day 7-MSME Schemes for Young entrepreneurs. The objective of the event was to enhance skill or capacity required to initiate Startup, Innovation & Entrepreneurship connected to business ideas, create Entrepreneurial innovation / product innovation by students, keep them abreast of current issues and trends in businesses and utilize them effectively, enhance skill or capacity relating to creating a business on the internet without the need to invest in physical spaces, to give an idea about some business related to Rural entrepreneurship. The resource persons highlighted their Journey of Entrepreneurship, also made the participants to understand that Entrepreneurship is the ability and readiness to develop, organize and run a business enterprise, along with any of its uncertainties in order to make a profit. They described how entrepreneurship will change, as business and society continue to be transformed by digital technology. MSME Schemes, business ideas and various schemes for starting up company were elaborately explained to the young budding entrepreneurs and also shared the websites link to register on those schemes. The outcome of the event is that the students were able to understand the functions of entrepreneurship, to utilize the best of entrepreneurial opportunities and to explore entrepreneurial leadership and management style. Participants acquired knowledge on the technical requirements and the competitive environment with lots of marketing opportunities. In the digital age, entrepreneurship is now more in demand than ever before. Faculty Members & students from the following Departments B. Com (G), B. Com (CS), B. Com (A&F), BBA, B.A. English, B.Sc. Mathematics & B.C.A participated and the total number of beneficiaries over the 7 days was 546.

Centre for Student Development -Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council of C.T.T.E College for Women Organised Orientation Sessions on August 19, 2021 between 4 pm to 5 pm through G-meet and YouTube Live Stream platform. Ms.Dalia Bernadette Lazaro, III B.Com(A&F) and Famidha.U, III B.Com(G) welcomed and introduced the speakers for the orientation sessions. The National Education Policy 2020, approved by the Union Cabinet of India on July 29, 2020, outlines the vision of India’s new education system.
Session I was all about “Orientation on NEP 2020 with specific reference to Entrepreneurship & Innovation”. Dr.Sridevi, Principal, C.T.T.E College for Women who has years of experience and great insight about the topic was the resource person. The objective of the session is to position and outline the vision of National Education Policy 2020 towards Entrepreneurship and Innovation amidst students and faculty members, as India is in need of employment opportunities and the New Education Policy plays a huge role in the creation of entrepreneurs for which innovations play a lead role. The speaker highlighted the importance of NEP2020 when compared with the other NEPs proposed from 1960 onwards. She also emphasised grooming students with activities towards creativity to be built inside the classroom and by taking a leadership role in campus so as to develop innovative and ethical entrepreneurs in the future. The resource person stressed on the students to be open towards a multidisciplinary learning approach and do Research by taking Internships as emphasised by NEP2020.
Session II was all about the Orientation of the College Action Plan for the Implementation of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Mrs.Princy Susan Selvakumari, Assistant Professor- Department of Business administration, NISP Convenor & IIC Vice- President was the Resource Person. The objective of the session is to make students understand the essence of Entrepreneurship, support laid by college& faculty members and the resources available to develop budding student entrepreneurs. The Resource Person Highlighted the scope & Importance of entrepreneurship through motivational stories about successful entrepreneurs and a well-defined action plan as a step towards motivating and developing entrepreneurs from college campus.
The orientation session was planned and organised by student Coordinators of the Centre for Student Development -Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council of C.T.T.E College for Women. Around 98 participants of students & faculties attended the orientation session and benefited (71 students & 27 faculties).

An Online programming quiz was organized by the EDC & IIC under the Centre for student development in association with Electronics and ICT academy, IIT Kanpur on August 27, 2021. The event was coordinated by Mrs.V.Suganthi, Assistant Professor, Department of computer science. The quiz contest was focused on C & C++ programming. Second and third year students from the department of BCA and Computer Science enthusiastically participated in this event. The students utilized the opportunity to evaluate their knowledge on programming skills. It is a two-phase event in which the first phase focuses on programming topics. The second phase is the final phase which will be a mega finale at IIT, Kanpur. The first phase was an online quiz duration of 25 minutes with 35 questions. The students who have cleared the first phase are eligible to compete in the second phase.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of CTTE College for Women in collaboration with the ICT Academy organized the next phase of the Entrepreneurship Training Program. 5 students were selected from EAC(Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign) to EDP(Entrepreneurship Development Program) under HDFC Aspiring Entrepreneurship Program.
This stage of the training program is for a total of 80 hours - 20 hours of Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) and 60 hours of Self Learning containing Video classes and materials. The 20 hours of Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) session for the Entrepreneurship Training Program was undergone by the above five students from 06th of September 2021 to 11th of September 2021 between 3 pm to 5 pm.

On September 13, 2021, all applicants were asked to report for an interview with their distinctive dish.
The Interview was held in the Centre for Student Development room at 1.30 pm
Ms.G.Vasanthapriya, B. Com, Batch 2017-2020 was chosen by the panel among all the candidates. Kavuniarisi, Kelvaragusemiya, Egg masala, Buttermilk, Bisibela bath, and sprouts dosa were the dishes prepared by her.
The interview panel chose the candidate based on food quality, hygiene, nutrition, innovation, flavour, and overall presentation.

Mrs. Princy, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Mrs. Jayashree, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Mrs. Poornima, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, Mrs.Amalthy, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry are the active faculty members of Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council Participated in Faculty Development Programme and benefited.
The objective of the faculty development Programme is to educate, train and motivate faculty ambassadors of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Cell, so that the same can be inculcated amidst the student fraternity to create budding entrepreneurs through campus ventures, startups (etc).
The five-day training Programme started with a brainstorming session on Entrepreneurship and campus ventures by Mrs. Rosy, Master Trainer, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute-TN. Followed by Ms. Sujaya Master Trainer, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute -TN who gave inputs on how students can be motivated towards entrepreneurship with a discussion on the case studies of the campus ventures which faculty participants had in their college during the second day of the Training Programme. The third day of the training Programme was made very interesting by Mr. Vishal, Master Trainer, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute -TN. He gave a different perception of Innovation as Invention plus Commercialization. He highlighted commercializing ideas through entrepreneurship ventures. He also explained about the classification of entrepreneurial ventures into MSME’S &IDE (Innovation driven Enterprise) and suggested faculty ambassadors to convert business ideas to IDE. The resource person highlighted case studies of successful innovation. The Fourth day of the faculty development programme started with a discussion session conducted by Mr.Adarsh, MasterTrainer, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute -TN on the organisation structure of ED cell in colleges of participating faculty members. The discussion gave a clear picture and the resource person also emphasized on the ED cell to be exclusively run only by students in a structured hierarchical manner with the support of faculty coordinators. He explained the role of faculty coordinators of ED cell with a successful startup video presentation of students in a particular college. The Training Programme came to an end with a session of Mrs. Rosy, Master Trainer, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute -TN, who explored possible ideas and events which can be planned by the ED cell of the college. Faculty Participants were asked to take up an assessment for the five days of the Training Programme through google form. The entire training Programme gave inputs on the role of faculty members as part of Entrepreneurship in motivating and supporting students for entrepreneurial ventures.

The CFSD Orientation Program for Science Departments - B.Sc (Physics), B.Sc (Chemistry), B.Sc(Mathematics), B.Sc. Computer Science and BCA was organised on October 7&8,2021. The aim of this programme is to orient students on the activities organised by CFSD (IIC&EDC). President Dr.Malarvizhi gave a broad view of IIC. She highlighted that the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has established an “Innovation Cell “with the purpose of systematically fostering the culture of innovation in all Higher Education Institutions across the country. She also mentioned that IIC has emerged as a sustainable and scalable model for promoting innovation with HEIs and the efforts of these IIC Institutes can be seen as an impactful contribution towards making the country’s innovation and start-up ecosystem more vibrant and dynamic. Mrs.P.Princy, Vice President explained the objectives and importance of EDC which plays a major role in creating Entrepreneurs on the college campus. The CFSD provides skill-based certificate courses for the students learn to make products and sell the same in the Stu-Bazaar. The students can also run Aavin parlor in the college campus by investing as an entrepreneur and share profits. Uma Maheshwari IIC Student Co-ordinator spoke on the initiative taken up by her to start an E-Commerce website (Her Crafts)to sell all the products. Nearly 70 students participated and gained thorough knowledge about the activities organised by CFSD (IIC&EDC).

Centre for Student Development -Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council of C.T.T.E College for Women Organised Doll Making Competition for all UG and PG students on the occasion of Navaratri on October 11, 2021 between 10.30 am-12.00 noon in Lecture Hall of the College. The objective of the Programme is to bring out the artistic skills of the students. Seven Teams from the different departments participated in the competition. Participants were informed to use only eco-friendly products to make their dolls. Each participant was allotted one and half an hour time duration to complete their dolls. Dr. Sudha Srikanth, Placement Officer & Soft Skill Trainer of the college was the Judge for the event. The judgement criteria for the competition were Creativity, Eco-Friendliness, Relevance to the theme, Finishing and No. of Dolls Made within the allotted time.
The winners of the competition were Anandhi.A and Divya.L from II BBA won the first prize, Swarnamalya. S and Pooja. S from III B. Com(A&F) won the Second Prize, Yamini.D and Rakshitha.R from II B. Com(G) B section won the third prize. The winners were appreciated and the prize-winning dolls were exhibited in the student bazaar for selling.

By running the Tech Taught Private Limited, we got to know about the formation of a company, the scope to develop Entrepreneurial skills, how to work as a team and Communication skills. The main purpose of the entrepreneurship & Innovation programme is to create First Generation Women Entrepreneurs by imbibing entrepreneurial qualities and motivating them to start their own enterprise. The guest speaker highlighted that Entrepreneurs play a key role in the economy, using the skills and initiative necessary to anticipate needs and bring good new ideas to market. He also said that Entrepreneurship will be successful in taking on the risks of creating a startup and is rewarded with profits, fame, and continued growth opportunities. Participants were made clear that entrepreneurs create a firm to realize their idea, with aggregate capital and labor in order to produce goods or services for profit. Entrepreneurs create social change. They break tradition with unique inventions that reduce dependence on existing methods and systems, sometimes rendering them obsolete. A total of 100 students benefited by this workshop.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of the Government of India aims to celebrate the Unity in Diversity of Bharat and further strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our nation. The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India in association with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Nazara Technologies Limited launched a new quiz-based game to further promote the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat mission. The EBSB Quiz game is targeted toward children and youngsters of Bharat for helping them learn more about our different regions, states, culture, national heroes, monuments, traditions, tourist locations, languages, geography, demographic, history, topography, etc. by answering the quizzes in these categories. This online program was launched on November 1, 2021 at 12.30 p.m. through YouTube Live Streaming link. Hon'ble Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan was the Chief guest on the occasion. 148 Students from B.sc computer science and BCA attended the event through online mode.

The speaker enlightened the students on her entrepreneurial journey and emphasized that a unique idea can play a significant role in starting a business. As a result of her ingenious idea, she established Some More Foods Pvt Ltd, which produces organic millet-based foods free from additives and preservatives. She also suggested that in order to build a business empire, young minds should be imbued with a passion for what they do. Participants clearly understood that entrepreneurship is a continuous learning process, and they must actively participate in the process of studying and analysing the market to establish and run their business in the most effective way. The Total no. of beneficiaries is 85.

Chief guest Mrs. Suganya Sri Venkatesh Director, BG Future School, Dhrona India Academy & MBG Shakthi-Health and Wellness, shown the PowerPoint presentation and explained about the different entrepreneurs. Example: Apple – Steve Jobs, Tesla – Elon Musk etc., She also talked about her own journey like how she became an entrepreneur and she also motivated the students to become an entrepreneur. She also explained about the business which is in trend. Mrs. Suganya Sri Venkatesh also told us that we can take our business to social media for advertising and how to promote our products. At last, the chief guest concluded by telling how to overcome the obstacles to become a successful entrepreneur.

Dr.T.Pavan Kumar, Senior Scientist, CSIR-IMMT, Bhuvaneswar was the resource person on Day 1 elaborated on the methods of identifying the problem, discovering the solutions, exploiting them as an opportunity, and thereby creating job opportunities to resolve unemployment issues in India. He gave an overview of Intellectual property rights and explained the significance of patented inventions. He also stated that there is a high percentage of job satisfaction, happiness, freedom, and independence in entrepreneurship when compared with employment.

Dr. Snehasish Beheragave detailed information on Rural Technologies available for large societal benefits.
He highlighted the technologies designed and developed by CSIR-IMMT such as natural draft and forced draft biomass operated dryers, biomass maize dryer, thermoelectric and solar box type cookstoves, biomass bakery oven, terafil water purification systems etc. The improved GVK series cookstoves were distributed to rural villages in India and received positive feedback from rural families and communities including Anganwadis.

Dr Ravi Pandey, Research Establishment Officer, IIT Kanpur, enlightened the participants with his knowledge on Rural Entrepreneurship Development. He showed several examples in his presentation to strongly support the statement,” entrepreneurship or emergence of modern technology should not just focus on financial turnover but should have a positive impact on society". He explained about the startup CD SPACE founded by an alumnus of IIT Kanpur. The drones had wide application in supplying medical aid for hospitals in hilly regions and mountains. He elaborated on the seed sowing boot developed by IIT Kanpur to help the farmers with less manpower.
He played a video demonstrating how flowers from temples were utilised to make products like incense sticks. Another such example which he showed to support the wealth from waste concept was the production of organic plates from stubble which usually cause pollution by burning.

Dr. Manish Kumar,gave deep insight on the techniques to become a smart entrepreneur by turning the huge agriculture and other waste produced every day into profit-making products. The resource person reported that over 75% of waste generated in India is recyclable, but only 30% is recycled. He also said that waste to wealth has great business and entrepreneurial opportunities. The speaker stated that proper utilization of Agro waste will lead to sustainable development and the government policymakers also consider waste to wealth for the environment and economic planning. The guest speaker emphasized the significance of filing patents for innovative ideas to start up a business.

Dr Kapil Arya, highlighted that India has made commendable progress so far, but there are still many challenges facing the country that hinders India's Development. This could be solved with the practice of societal innovation. Social innovation is said to be a new form of thinking to solve social problems and this focuses on the ideas and the solutions that offer efficient, sustainable and positive social change that creates social value. In order to utilize its scientific strength and meet the expectations of the country, CSIR has a dynamic network of 37 national laboratories in India which works on different societal fields like agriculture including medicinal and aromatic plants, disaster management, farm machinery, healthcare, infrastructure, leather processing, potable water etc.

Dr D Singh emphasized on producing efficient and need based devices locally by the youth of the nation. He explained how the Terafil Water filter disc is manufactured, how the components of this disc – sand, saw dust and pottery clay – work as filters and how it’s production is cost effective.
The speaker also told in detail, how this technology is taught to others and thereby making many people to venture into this field. This simple know how and it’s low cost has attracted many people to this field.

Prof Swapna gave a clear and detailed explanation on schemes like the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program [PMEGP] and also explained the government portal of PMEGP and illustrated the process of online application. The EDP programs that are being developed by PMEGP for entrepreneurs were also highlighted. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise [MSME] and its Schemes like design scheme, Incubator scheme, IPR scheme, Loan manufacturing scheme etc were explained by mentioning its functioning and the services offered by them. The e-portal of MSME was explored and its uses were described.
Nearly 865 participants across the nation benefited from this workshop.

The resource person started the campaign by asking what is women empowerment?
Mrs. Sujatha shared the PowerPoint Presentation and started to explain the first step of being financially independent by opening a savings account
She educated about the documents needed to open an account
Besides these, she also explained about the importance of savings and wise spending.
In addition, she also talked about wealth creation, goal-oriented plans etc.,
Furthermore, she gave a clear idea about short, medium, and long-term assets

The Center for Student Development (EDC & IIC) organized a Field visit for BBA students on February 23, 2022 to Sri Sai Ram Hair Industries, Manali New Town, Chennai-103. The objective of this field visit is to make the students identify the real-time problems prevailing in the industry and to give innovative solutions and to provide them an opportunity to learn practically the working methods through interactions with workers, managers and entrepreneurs. Around 44 students visited the industry. The students gained practical knowledge on how to produce and market products. Students learned how theoretical concepts were put into action.
Hair Wig manufacturing Process
Stage 1 - Procurement:
Sri Sai Ram Industries is procuring the hair through auctioning from the different temples and bringing that to the factory located in Manali New Town.
Stage 2 - Sorting:
In the first step, the workers detangle the hair and make it as a single straight hair strand and in this sorting step, the employees are removing the gray hair, brown hair, lice, nits and damaged hairs. This process is done using a wooden detangling hair brush.
After the sorting, hair undergoes a stitching process. Stitching is done both manually and using a tailoring machine.
Washing:
After the stitching, hair moves to the washing process at least 2-3 times.
Coloring:
Hair Coloring of Wig is done by Sri Sai Ram Hair Industries outside the Factory.
Machine and Hand-made Wigs:
The Handmade wigs are stitched by taking 2 individual hairs. They're stitched on the net to make hair wigs. Hand-made hair wigs are tough to work with, it takes at least 5 days to complete a wig.
Problems Identified:
Workers are undergoing severe eye pain and headache as they have to strain their eyes while making handmade hair wigs.
Workers hurt their fingers during the detangling process. There is no first aid box kept in factory.
Employees are paid less. They are asked to work for long hours.
Majority of the workers in the factory are women. There is no creche in the workplace.
There are no proper seating arrangements for the workers. They were given wooden chowki to sit and work.
Work atmosphere is not hygienic.
Employees were not given sufficient interval breaks.
There is no proper lighting and ventilation.

To commemorate the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian Physicist Sir. C. V. Raman, National Science Day is observed every year on the 28th of February. On this occasion, the Departments of Basic Science (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) in association with the Centre for Student Development – Institution’s Innovation Council of our College organized activities in the schools in and around Chennai from February 25, 2022, to March 1, 2022. Key Highlight : Members of the Center of Student Development - Institution’s Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Cell visited the IIT Madras Incubation Cell. Incubation associates explained the procedure to apply for incubation and the support rendered by Incubation Cell to help entrepreneurs to establish their business. Incubators of IITM Research Park gave brief overviews about how they translated their innovative ideas into products and services that are commercially viable at present. Students gained knowledge on Incubation, Startups, and jobs created by them. This Incubation Cell visit created an instinct among the students towards innovation, to start up a business, to face the socio-economic challenges of our nation. Students also got deep insights on how to protect their Intellectual property rights. By interacting with the incubators and incubation associates, students were able to clear up their doubts. Around 36 students visited IITM Incubation Cell.
IIT Madras incubated Company
The following were the companies incubated by IITM Incubation Cell,
Yali Mobility Pvt Ltd is an IIT Madras incubated company that focuses on delivering affordable solutions for person with locomotor disabilities. Currently, they are proposing to design, develop, and manufacture an electrically powered three-wheeler which will specifically be for wheelchair users, a person with locomotor disability, and the elderly.
Earthen Tunes
Founded by the alumni of the National Institute of Design-Ahmedabad, Earthen Tunes is a social enterprise presently trying to build a better India for the future. Earthen Tunes is presently being incubated by the Rural Technology and Business Incubator at IIT-Madras. Earthen Tunes produced shoes for the farmers in wool.
Stella Apps
They digitize & optimize Milk Production, Milk Procurement & Cold chain Management through the SmartMoo platform (Full Stack IoT solution) which helps dairy farmers and cooperatives maximize profits while minimizing effort. Currently, the SmartMoo platform & suite of apps touch over two billion liters of milk annually. SmartMoo IoT Platform is the first step towards creating measurable value for all stakeholders including farmers. It provides measurable data for cattle insurance. The SmartMoo Cloud is capable of supporting data arising out of tens of millions of liters of milk through the milk production, procurement and cold chain flow across millions of farmers.
FIB SOL
FIB-SOL Life Technologies provides lightweight Agri inputs to promote eco-friendly farming. We aim to ensure sustainable livelihood to the farmer. High-end biotechnological processes such as encapsulation are harnessed to achieve the same.

Key Highlights: The Students participated in this workshop well trained on how to prepare a Business Model Canvas.
Following the orientation event, Dr.S.Gayathry mam detailed the important factors based on which business model canvas should be prepared. After explaining the important factors, she asked the participants to prepare a business model canvas using their business idea. She conducted a competition on that. On 21st March itself she asked the participants to prepare the team and business names and ideas. Students were separated into 5 teams. Each team consisted of 3-4 people. Team is given with the Business Model Canvas and some sticky notes and were asked to present their business idea in the given canvas. 5 teams came up with their own business ideas and presented it.

Key Highlights: Students from different colleges participated in Plan De Negocios (Business Plan Competition) which was held on 16 May 2022 (Monday) at T.Thomas Auditorium of Chevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women. Totally 8 teams participated and presented their ideas on stage. Student teams encountered the queries posed by the judge Mrs. Bonnie Penninah and tried to convince her with their business plan. The judge put herself in the capacity of an investors and customer and made the teams realise the positive and negative aspects of their ideas. A 3-day International Conference on Data Mining and its Application conducted by the Department of Computer Science association with IQAC AND CFSD Cell. The conference was hosted in G-meet. The aim of this conference is to enrich the student's knowledge and to present their own papers. In this conference, we invited experts from various fields. Besides this event, is aimed to enrich young minds. This was a fruitful interaction among the students and experts to promote the advanced things in data mining and its application in this present situation. Taking the enormity of Data Mining into consideration, the paper consisted of a variety of sub-themes. Participants from various colleges and universities came forward to present their papers. o The entrepreneurial qualities of Captain G.R. Gopinath such as identifying the societal problem and working hard to bring a solution to the problem with lots of perseverance despite of rejections, criticism and humiliations and how to create opportunities instead of waiting for it and trying to raise fund from the right source and at the end accomplishment of his vision of affordable flight tickets to Millions of Indians by establishing Air Deccan.
