Every student inspired, every team member supported, and every family engaged.
We are currently in year THREE of our Strategic Plan. For the 2025-2026 school year, each goal team has set new benchmarks and is working towards progressing the district. If you select each of the goals. you can see our growth and our plan to move forward. This year we have the following Goal Champions:
Amanda Wayne, Julie Tepper, Kelly Hill, Ronda Ferri, Danielle Nugent,
Ms. Tepper and Ms. Hill have switched goals. As a reminder, we have five goals:
Goal #1: Increase equity and inclusivity within all learning environments
Goal #2: Improve communication and collaboration among staff, students, and parents
Goal #3: Improve school climate by prioritizing social emotional learning
Goal #4: Design an articulated, standards-aligned curriculum across all subjects K-8 and provide teachers with the training and support needed to implement it successfully
Goal #5: Involve students and the broader school community in the care, keeping, and long-term sustainability of our schools
The 2024-2025 Strategic Plan was a success. In less than five years, we achieved our goals. Here is an Overview.
The 2023-2024 School Year Strategic Planning was a success. Our goal Campions
Amanda Wayne, Julie Tepper, Kelly Hill, Ronda Ferri, Danielle Nugent, and their district teams worked all year to set great plans into motion.
As a result of their work, we have SEL data, have plans to increase inclusion, have audited some curricula for areas of need, have worked on streamlining building and school improvement initiatives, and have adopted a new website.
During the 2022-2023 School Year, Community Members, Parents, Administrators, Board of Education Members, and Teachers came together to look at our current needs and chart a path forward. We had eight sessions and shared the Strategic Plan at the June 26th BOE meeting. The Clinton Township Board of Education adopted the Strategic Plan on August 14, 2023.
On November 3, 2022 the District held its strategic planning event at the Clinton Township Middle School. Thirty-nine people attended, including parents, teachers, community members, Clinton Township officials, board members, administrators, and school support organizations like the Education Foundation, CTEA, and PTA.
Attendees learned about our upcoming strategic planning process and discussed the internal and external strengths and opportunities for growth for our district. We identified that the District has committed staff, high expectations, and a supportive community, but it was acknowledged that funding, technology, and societal shifts also play a role. All the information gathered that night, along with the survey responses collected from the community, helped the core team create a data-driven growth plan for the next few years.
The core planning team consisted of teachers, community members, staff, and parents, who met six times from December to May.
