Spain - NGO
Jovesolides was created in 1999 in the priority area of La Coma, in Paterna (Valencia, Spain). NGO works for equal opportunities in development, and promotes an active global citizenship that is committed to its environment. Jovesolides works on projects separeted in 5 areas as development cooperation, e-inclusion, education for development, social entrepreneurship and innovation.
E-Inclusion
We promote digital literacy through ICT training. We specialise in two social sectors: seniors and unemployed people.
Education for development
We work to create awareness within society about social problems. We do this through formal and non-formal education, political engagement, and advocacy.
Social innovation
We seek other ways of thinking and doing, which are more creative and constructive in attending to social needs.
Development cooperation
We strengthen leadership among young people and migrants’ organizations, in order to contribute to a critical, international, and unified population.
Social entrepreneurship
We encourage and sustain new social entrepreneurship initiatives through training, motivation, and support. And we give special attention to the most vulnerable groups.
