Output Description (including: needs analysis, target groups, elements of innovation, expected impact and transferability potential)

This report presents the results obtained from the Observation Guide on Risk Factors of drop out that has been passed on to the students of parner high schools that are part of the Project. Risk analysis can be defined as the careful and detailed assessment and evaluation of the risks that may arise beforehand, taking measures to minimize or completely eliminate these risks.

This analysis is a descriptive study to reveal the situations of students at risk. In this study, it is aimed to determine the existing profile for the situations of students at risk and reveal a “FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF THE STUDENTS UNDER RISK OF DROPOUT”.

This study is qualitative research and "SURVEY STUDY" will be used as a descriptive research method in this output. Risk Analysis will let us know the target group that we are going to improve the further analyses on. This is beneficial not only for the project objectives that ig going to be carried out, but also the school itself. The counsellors will be able to use the data to help students overcome their problems. The class guidance teachers will know their students better and they will have new indicaters to identify the risks for their students. The aim of this output is simply to define the students under risk of dropout and the ones who do not tend to proceed to higher education and take some precautions for the future steps.

In the RISK ANALYSIS, five themes have been specified to IDENTIFY students at risk.

 These are:

 • personal information

• family status,

• educational life,

 • relationship among mother, father and the child,

• the way they spend their free time,

• serious problems that they have experienced.

TARGET GROUPS: The survey questions will be applied by the partner schools on their students between 14-19 ages.

ELEMENTS OF INNOVATION: The schools will create a risk plan with five themes mentioned above to determine their students in risk.

EXPECTED IMPACT: By determining the students in risk, the schools will have the numbers of the students to be rehabilitated.

TRANSFERABILITY POTENTIAL: After determining the students in risk, the students who will be mentored on the DIGITAL TOOL will be specified. Each partner school will create their own Risk Prevention plan.
