End Date (yyyy-mm-dd) 2022-11-30

Output Description (including: needs analysis, target groups, elements of innovation, expected impact and transferability potential)

The aim of this output is to combine all data from analyses and create a resource for students, parents, school administration and all stakeholders directly and indirectly involved in education and it is expected to support and inform the stakeholders who are struggling against behaviors  like dropout and truancy at schools.

The guidebook will be in the form of paperback and will have between 150-200 pages. The length of the book is rather long since it will summarize all project work. On the other hand, the length depends on each partner's contribution, so it will vary within these limits.

Basically, the content of this output will include:

1. The content and aim of the project

2. Introduction of intellectual outputs and the usage areas of them.

3. The risk prevention plans of the schools

4. Good practice samples

5. Suggestions to the stakeholders

All partners and ultimately all people actively working on the project will contribute to the content of the guidebook. Everyone in charge with any project activity will document their work throughout the performance of that task, to be later on adapted for being published in the guidebook. In this way, every relevant aspect of the project will eventually be on paper. The project team of every partner will collect the materials for the guidebook, documenting the activities they have done, and will send them to the coordinator in due time. By the time of the last transnational meeting, the collection of the materials will be completed.

 TARGET GROUPS:

• school managers / administrators;

• school counsellors;

• teachers and education professionals involved in tackling ESL;

• provincial and district national education inspectorates / directorates;

• local / regional centers of educational resources;

 • staff of the ministry of education;

• schools with early school leaving and absenteeism problems;

ELEMENTS OF INNOVATION: This guidebook will be an example for schools and educational institutions that suffer from early school leaving and absenteeism. Since all analysis questions and risk prevention plans are shared, all educational institutions will be able to implement the ideas in this guidebook in their own institutions.

EXPECTED IMPACT AND TRANSFERABILITY POTENTIAL: It is expected the guidebook will contribute to solving problems of the schools with the same dropout and absenteeism problems in the region. It will be an example and inspiration for the schools around to do other projects on this subject. By distributing this booklet to the local politicians, they can help fulfil the demands mentioned in the needs analysis and determine the necessary policies in schools.
