Output Description (including: needs analysis, target groups, elements of innovation, expected impact and transferability potential) With this output, we aimed to reveal the present situation of the problems related to truancy, early school leaving or attendance frequency and rate of the partner schools. We will define and analyze the effects of internal and external factors causing dropout on partner schools. Besides the strengths and weaknesses, the situation analysis will include opportunities and threats that the partner schools can take advantage. The schools will apply SWOT analysis to identify their current situations and problems to be improved in next steps. The main objective of the questionnaire is to identify the motivating elements for the continuation of the studies from the perspective of the students, as well as to approach the expulsion factors of the educational system perceived by the students.

The Situation Analysis will include the following data for the schools:

• organizational structure

• financial situation

 • human resources,

• educational background

• stakeholders, external environment and factors

TARGET GROUPS: The target group of the students are 14-19 which is same among the four partner schools.

ELEMENTS OF INNOVATION: All of the students will be asked the same questions which will be prepared by the university. Schools can define their dropout status by performing this analysis. The comparison of dropout conditions between countries reflects the innovative part of this intellectual output.

 EXPECTED IMPACT: To do that, we aim to find the common problems as we will offer common solutions in the end. Answering the questions of the analysis, both students and teachers will gain awareness towards dropout.

TRANSFERABILITY POTENTIAL: Situation Analysis will give us concrete results about the current situation of the schools and the schools will be able to focus on the problems that will be stated in the evaluation report and risk analysis will be prepared according to the results of this output It is clear that, if we minimize the rates in dropout and truancy, we can increase the success rate when the students proceed to higher education. That’s why it is vital to find and distinguish the problems of the students in partner schools. Finding reasons for not feeling themselves belong to the school that they are attending, will make it easier for the future precautions about drop out.
