Interactive Financial Literacy Product / App
This UI/UX capstone project focuses on making financial literacy feel less intimidating and more approachable for young adults. Many people are expected to manage budgeting, saving, and investing with little real guidance, so this project explores how gamification and real-time projections can turn learning about money into a more engaging, supportive experience. The concept includes a mobile app that adapts to a user’s monthly income and helps guide spending, saving, and investing decisions through digestible visuals and interactive learning. Alongside the app, the project introduces a physical product system, a personalized spending card, and a designed case with a rotating display that lives in the home and visualizes financial progress, habits, and growth. By connecting everyday spending decisions to clear, real-time feedback, both the app and physical product work together to create a positive feedback loop that helps users better understand their money and build long-term financial confidence. This project tackles the widespread issue of financial literacy, which feels intimidating and inaccessible for young adults. Its relevance, originality, and focus on real-world behavior change make it a strong and impactful capstone project.
