Internship Experiences

Through the school leadership internship experience, I have been provided the required experiences, skills, dispositions and aptitudes to successfully lead in K-12 schools. I can
- utilize data to drive decision making for strategic planning purposes.
- discuss strategies to support a learning culture conducive to academic achievement for diverse student populations.
- Evaluate potential relationships needed to support the diverse needs of a learning community.
- Identify the digital resources necessary to promote a technology inclusive learning culture.

Below are some highlights related to my internship experiences:

Attended the CPS webinar and gained skills in collaborating with students on solving problems, addressing concerning behaviors and unmet expectations
This training was inspiring as it provided a new perspective to work collaboratively with students to identify lagging skills that lead to unsolved problems.

FCHS Co-Teaching PLC

Leading the Co-Teaching PLC at Fort Collins High School
Leading this PLC has been impactful as I have been able to provide co-teachers in the building the time and space to collaborate to meet the needs of students on IEPs and multilingual learners
I am gaining experience in developing and leading professional learning that aligns with building-wide goals.
