You can copy all or parts of your Brightspace course from any course in which you are an instructor.
Here is a tutorial on copying content into a course offering (course offering is Brightspace’s term for a course shell)
Use the Blackboard Course Clean-up Checklist to prep your course, first. Courses in Blackboard, particularly those that have been around a while, collect files, assignments and other content that isn't used any more. Deleting unused content makes your course in Brightspace much more manageable. We recommend placing all files in Google Drive to make sharing with students & peers easier.
After cleaning, export your Blackboard course and import it into a Brightspace sandbox or course offering.
Contact the CSS Help Desk at cssitservicedesk@css.edu if you don't have a sandbox.
Use this Migration Info & Checklist to quality check your course.
Use this Best Practices in Brightspace doc to help guide you through the course setup process.
