Under Mr. Austin Condalor's leadership as a secretary and president from SY 2018-2020, the CSanSci SSG actively reached out to the marginalized community of CSJDM. From the SPED pupils of Benito Nieto Elementary School, the poor pupils of Ricafort Elementary School, and the senior citizens of Home for the Aged in Tungkong Mangga, the CSanSci SSG, with its partner clubs ESP, AP, and Music, delivered donations and performed songs and dance. His heart for community service became the foundation and inspiration of the CSanSci SSLGs to come.
Conceptualized by Ma'am Mara Danica Ramos, Ms. Russel Eanna Tedra, and Mr. Andrei Rudolf Conceja during their time in the Kabataan Tungo sa Kaunlaran ng Kasaysayan (KKK, the CSanSci AP club, now merged as LIKAS), the HistoryBook 2023 is the first post-COVID 19 pandemic major community outreach by the school. Ms. Hannah Joi Nazareta and the CSanSci SSLG partnered with the KKK and became the main storyteller and additional volunteers along with Lexicon Club. With HistoryBook as a success, it was carried over by the three KKK leaders into the CSanSci SSLG, now known as Sinagtala.
Coming from their success in the KKK (AP Club), Ma'am Mara Danica Ramos, Mr. Andrei Rudolf Conceja, andย Ms. Russel Eanna Tedra contextualized HistoryBook into Sinagtala, the flagship community program of the CSanSci SSLG. Starting from SY 2024-2025, it aims to collaborate with clubs and organizations (currently with Likha't Sining), and the CSanSci FEA and SPTA to give back to the community every December in time of the holiday season.
