The City of San Jose del Monte National Science High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government proudly upholds the values of DepEd, the school, and the community embarking its culture and identity behind the logo.
The CSANSCI SSLG logo resembles an atomic model, representing the idea of interconnectedness and at the heart of the atomic model are the letters SSLG— the Supreme Secondary Learner Government, symbolizing leadership and governance provided by the SSLG.
The circle signify unity, peace, and highlights the SSLG’s commitment to creating a peaceful and harmonious school environment whilst surrounding the nucleus are subatomic particles, each representing a key group within the school community: the student body, the faculty, and the non-teaching staff. These organizations illustrate the SSLG’s dedication to serving and representing all members of the school community.
At the bottom of the logo is a torch. It is a universal symbol of enlightenment and hope. The torch signifies the SSLG’s role in illuminating the path towards knowledge, growth, and a brighter future for everyone in the school. The logo is also assembled to include four distinct levels, representing the four pillars of education: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be. These are the foundation of the educational philosophy promoted by the SSLG. Embedded within the design are the four core values of the Department of Education: Makadiyos, Makatao, Makabansa, at Makakalikasan.
The CSanSci SSLG logo has deep meanings and reflects crucial things that embody what CSanSci and the SSLG stands for, representing the essence of leadership, service, and education.
This is behind the logo. A lasting legacy for CSanSci and SSLG.
From Whatever It Takes, the CSanSci SSLG takes on a more Godly stance as it reorients its viewpoint of servant-leadership as the highest student governing body in the school. Taking its inspiration from Matthew 20:25-28 (New Living Translation):
But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Among us, it will be truly different. We, the CSanSci Supreme Secondary Learner Government, will not to be served but to serve others and to give our life for our community and our country.
By building our foundation in God, He will give us strength to do whatever it takes to cultivate the four DepEd core values among CSanSci students: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabansa, and Makalikasan.
Amidst victories and challenges, we are reminded of our purpose: not to be served but to serve.
