Welcome to Columbia High School 

At Columbia High School, a student’s program of study is one of the most important decisions they make each year. Course selection should be thoughtful, intentional, and aligned with each student’s strengths, interests, and future goals.

Every student is encouraged to meet with their School Counselor annually to review graduation requirements, explore career interests, and plan for post-secondary options. Together with the school counselor, teachers, and families, students can build a high school experience that reflects their academic abilities, personal interests, and long-term aspirations.

Students will receive course selection information in the classroom and are encouraged to use the course selection worksheet to guide their decision-making. The course descriptions in this catalog are designed to help students and families make informed choices for the upcoming school year.

Please note that all classes are offered based on teacher availability, classroom space, and student interest. Course offerings are subject to change.
