This yearlong course combines World Geography and Law to help students better understand the world and the systems that govern society. During the first semester, students explore global geography using the five themes—location, place, human–environment interaction, movement, and region—while developing geographic skills and cultural awareness. In the second semester, students study the foundations of law, including the U.S. legal system, constitutional rights, civil and criminal law, and court procedures. Through case studies, simulations, and mock trials, students apply critical thinking and real-world problem-solving skills.
