Students earn .25 Credits (same as a TA) for 30 total sessions; Pass/Fail Class, passing grade of a 70%
Sessions held in the HS Mini Theater on most Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30am - 8:15am
All class sessions posted in Google Classroom with a game plan of the day with all resources used
Geared toward students wanting to pursue or learn more about an industrial trade career, a branch of the military, certificates & or other training, and any 2 or 4-year college degree program
Students will have the opportunity to learn and get training from guest speakers/professionals with resume writing, training & apprenticeship opportunities, college options, military, and more
Students will do ACT Prep as all Juniors take the ACT in the spring in all subjects to include help with writing essays
Students will take personality assessments and interest inventories to determine how it relates to specific career fields
Students will thoroughly investigate many in state and out of state programs/colleges that match their interested fields of study
Students will learn about specific activities they neeed to complete & deadlines to meet if they are pursuing college; steps they can work on into their senior year
Navigate playing sports in college; NCAA & NAIA
Former Corvallis HS graduates will share their college and/or license journey and share lessons learned in HS; their recommendations and more

Students will learn about the college application process and navigate various sites to help in matching their interests and career path with a college major; Complete college applications
Students will thoroughly investigate many in state and out of state colleges/universities that match their chosen field of study
Students will complete the FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Aid; will learn about other funding sources to include loans, grants & Federal Work Study
Students will complete several national & local scholarships and be able to set-up accounts with several FREE scholarship search engines; Discuss & review award letters
Students will get additional help in writing scholarship essays
Students will finalize their HS resume and complete additional documents that will help them in obtaining Letter's of Recommendation from staff, coaches, employers, etc
Former Corvallis HS graduates will share their college journey and lessons learned in HS; their recommendations and more
Students will learn about Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and other possible tuition waivers
Select or narrow down their college search
Learn about Housing, selecting classes; points of contact within their college and more; what to expect as a college freshman
