Hello Corvallis Students & Family!

My name is Josh Hattabaugh and I'll be one of your counselors for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Here's a little about me:

• While originally from NW Indiana, I lived outside of Orlando FL for almost 15 years where I taught at the same high school.

• I taught Social Studies for 15 years - 14 years high school and one year of 6th grade at the Missoula Online Academy  

• I have a B.S. in Secondary Education (emphasis on Social Studies) from Indiana University

• I have a M.A. in School Counseling from the University of Montana

• I have three dogs... I love them *most* of the time

• I enjoy hiking, fly fishing (not that great at it), hockey (GO BOLTS! GO KRAKEN!), baseball (GO CUBS! GO PADDLEHEADS!) reading, and watching old movies on TCM

My name is Kyla Toynbee and I'll be one of your counselors for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Here's a little about me:

• I've lived in the Bitterroot Valley for most of my life. I grew up and went to school in Darby.

• I come from a family of educators and am excited to take on the role of counselor and provide academic and social-emotional support for students. 

• I have a B.S. in Anthropology from the University of Montana.

• I will have my M.A. in School Counseling in May of this year from the University of Montana.

• I love being outdoors whether that is hiking, riding motorcycles, kayaking, or bird hunting with my Wirehaired Griffon, Boedy. I also enjoy reading and working on creative projects.
