The PSAT will be offered October 2025 (date to be determined) deadline for signup is 10/1
Offered every fall to all 9th, 10th & 11th grade students.
Tests are $18 each; Sign-Up & Pay with Mrs. Fison at the HS Office
Score reports available via College Board a few weeks after taking the test

During Your Junior Year, Your Score Can Qualify You for a National Merit Scholarship
The SAT will be offered at CHS during the 2025-26 school year 2 times - November 8 (deadline October 24) and March 2 (deadline February 27, 2026). Both are digital only testing

Test Registration Steps:
Create a College Board Account at Collegeboard.org to register online
Exam cost is $68; Pay online when you register

On test day, please bring your photo ID & printed testing ticket which is mandatory to test – see online instructions!
Any student can register to take a National level test. If you sign-up to take a National ACT exam, Cost is $69.00 (No Writing) & $94.00 (with Writing)

All Juniors at CHS will take the ACT for the Spring statewide testing in April of 2026!
Freshmen and Sophomores at CHS will be take the PreACT the same day as Juniors take the ACT
Additional Testing Dates/Schools Who Administer in 2025-2026 (see ACT site for specific dates): October, December, February, April, & June at Hamilton HS or Sentinel HS in Missoula (typically sign-up a month before the exam)
Varsity Tutors has FREE Diagnostic Tests in English, Math, Reading & Science to measure a students understanding of academic concepts & which ones require more attention; FREE ACT Practice Tests in each subject
