INTRODUCTION

How would you describe what the gospel (good news) is?

Jesus often uses the phrase the kingdom of God/Heaven. What do you think he is talking about?

INTRO VERSE: Isaiah 52:3–10

Background—Isaiah is a Jewish prophet and he is speaking to an oppressed people who at this point in the book have been taken into exile. They were wondering how God would save them, how they could be His kingdom people.
