Intro to Premiere Pro

Welcome everyone to our unit on video production and editing!

For this unit we will be using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a video production tool that enables you to edit and manipulate video projects and export them to a variety of formats.

With Premiere Pro you can import files, capture video, manage media, use the Storyboard feature, and work with clips in the Timeline panel.

• Demonstrate knowledge of how to organize and plan a video sequence.

• Identify elements of the Adobe Premiere Pro interface.

• Identify the functions of Adobe Premiere Pro interface elements.

• Organize and customize the Adobe Premiere Pro workspace.

• Import media assets (video, image, and audio files).

• Organize and manage video clips in a sequence

When you open the Adobe Creative Cloud App you will be able to download Photoshop directly from there. Once installed you will be able to use Photoshop.

Let's start by having a look at the working are of Premiere Pro.

Get familiar with the tools and how to navigate among the workspace panels.
