Installing Photoshop
When you open the Adobe Creative Cloud App you will be able to download Photoshop directly from there. Once installed you will be able to use Photoshop.
You should already have Adobe Creative Cloud on your desktop but if you do not, please download here :

Introduction to Photoshop
Menu bar (at the very top) shows the File, Edit, Image, and other menus that give you access to a variety of commands, adjustments, and panels.
Options bar (underneath the menu bar)
Tools panel (on the left) contains tools for editing images and creating artwork.
The Working Space
A. The Application bar across the top contains a workspace switcher, menus (Windows only), and other application controls. On the Mac for certain products, you can show or hide it using the Window menu.
B. The Options bar Control panel displays options for the currently selected tool.
C. The Document window displays the file you’re working on. Document windows can be tabbed and, in certain cases, grouped and docked.
D. The Search icon lets you search across UI elements, documents, Help & learning content, inspiring Stock assets, and more. The Workspace switcher allows you to adjust the layout and functionality of the Photoshop workspace.
E. Panels help you monitor and modify your work. Certain panels are displayed by default, but you can add any panel by selecting it from the Window menu. Many panels have menus with panel-specific options. You can separate, group, stack, and dock panels into your preferred layout.
F. The Tools panel contains tools for creating and editing images, artwork, page elements, and so on. Related tools are grouped.

Saving in Photoshop format (.psd) will retain layers, type and other editable Photoshop Properties
Saving in JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) format will save as a standard image file that can be shared or opened by other programs and posted online
