1. Choose an Album
Select an album that resonates with you. Think about the themes, mood, and vibe of the album to guide your design choices.
2. Design Requirements:
Your album cover must be visually unique from the original.
Incorporate the following design techniques:
Clipping masks
Layers (a minimum of 5 layers)
Layer transformations
Gradient maps
Masks
High-resolution image manipulation
Blending modes and filters
3. Content Integration
Incorporate elements inspired by the album's songs, locations, people, or themes to enhance the connection between the artwork and the music.
4. Creative Commons
If using images from online sources, make sure they are either significantly modified or labeled for reuse under Creative Commons licensing. This ensures that your design follows ethical usage standards.
5. Planning Document
Use AI to create a planner document to help guide the production of your album cover. Your planner should contain these elements.
