At The Creighton Academy, parent involvement and support is important to our students’ success and overall positive school community. We are always in need of parent volunteers and encourage your involvement. All families should commit to a minimum of 20 volunteer hours each school year. Giving your time and talents to the school is a great way to support your child’s education while communicating to your son/daughter the importance of learning. We realize busy schedules can hinder ability to spend time at school and there are many opportunities to volunteer and be involved outside of the school day. Connect with our parent liaison or our TCA PTO to get involved today. Remember, the importance of showing your support by talking to your child about school, spending time together reading, and reviewing school work is important as well. A positive and cooperative attitude toward your child’s education is contagious. Your support signifies to your child the value you place on education.
At The Creighton Academy, our goal is to create a partnership between the home and school community in order to help all students succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.
When you volunteer at TCA, whether in our indoor learning space, in the garden or on a field trip, it is a great way to stay connected to your child’s education.
Everyone is required to complete a volunteer application.
Non-parents and non-guardians will be required to obtain background and fingerprint clearance to volunteer. Anyone volunteering on an overnight field trip will also be required to obtain background and fingerprint clearance. Non-parent/guardian and overnight volunteers will also need to complete the volunteer application.
Safety of our students, staff, and volunteers is a matter we take seriously and we appreciate your cooperation as we ensure we are employing best practices for student safety at The Creighton Academy
