Classroom Parties

Classroom parties and celebrations are held at the discretion and approval of classroom teachers and school administrators. If you wish to send a special treat to school with your child, arrangements should be made ahead of time with your child’s teacher. Each teacher has their own classroom policy for celebrating birthdays.

• Please make arrangements no less than a week in advance.

• Ensure you have enough treats for all students in the classroom

Due to increasing concerns regarding allergies among school age children, we ask that you consider the following when planning to send a treat to school:

• Consider sending treats such as happy birthday pencils, erasers, or stickers.

• Consider sending healthier alternatives to typical treats

• Please check with your child’s teacher regarding specific food allergies within the classroom

• All food items should be store bought to allow the teacher to check the ingredient list.
