Chicopee Public Schools uses ParentSquare as our school-to-home communications platform to allow for consistency across our schools.

It is highly recommended that you activate your account or register. You will still receive school and district communications regardless of whether or not you activate your ParentSquare account, but to access the advanced features of ParentSquare, parents must register. When users register their account, they will see posts in one organized feed. Registering your account also allows you to download/login via the app, and receive app notifications.
Register your account by entering the email or phone number in the "Register" box at parentsquare.com/signin. After you enter your email or phone number, click "Get Started". You must use the same email or phone number that the district has on file.

ParentSquare launched on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. From that date forward, all school communication will be sent through ParentSquare.
BUT: We highly recommend that every parent/guardian register and download the app so you can access all of the benefits of ParentSquare. A non-registered user will have limited access to features.
Yes. You can contact your child's teacher privately by using the direct messaging tool.
On the home page, click on "Messages" in the left sidebar. From there, you can send a direct message to your child's teacher that only you and the teacher can see. You can also send messages to other staff members at the school, such as your child's coaches and club leaders.
Note: You can send these messages in your preferred language; the messages will arrive to staff in English.
To register your account:

You will receive school communications even if you have not registered your account. However, you will need to register your account in order to participate in two-way communications and to access any confidential student-specific documents or forms.
On a browser: click on your name to update your language preferences.
On the app: go to "My Account" and tap "Change This" under language settings. From there, you can choose any language you prefer from the dropdown menu and you will start to receive content in that language.

To add a student or school, you should contact your student's school directly to update your contact information in SchoolBrains. You should confirm that the same email and phone number is on file for all children at all schools. The day after the change is made at the school, you should be able to see the updated information in ParentSquare.
Yes, you can customize your notification settings by going to your homepage and clicking on your name in the top right corner and selecting "My Account" from the drop down menu. On your account page, you can find your notification settings in the top right corner and click "Change This" to customize your notifications. If you are receiving too many notifications, try changing to the “Digest” setting where you will only receive one condensed message in the evening at 6PM.
