Goal of the Assignment: To report on connections between an assigned novel and a real world issue while explaining that issue in a visually appealing tri-fold board.

• I chose the topic of human trafficking in India 

How it Fits the Learning Target: 

• Civic

  • This is a very political issue as many nations are urging Indian government to strengthen their approach towards trafficking

  • This project challenged me to learn about the way Indian government and legislature is structured

• Social

  • This project required me to look into the ways in which people in a foreign area are affected by a tragedy there

• Personal

  • Researching this issue also made me aware of how human trafficking is an issue locally and how we need to be aware of the signs in order to prevent it
