Volleyball

The Carle Place volleyball team has had a great season. The team started off their season versus Valley Stream South on September 2, but I would have to say the most prominent moments this season would have to be the Dig Pink tournament and Senior Night. The Dig Pink tournament raised awareness of women’s breast cancer and raised money for Carle Place volleyball's future. The tournament was from morning to afternoon and was a fun day for all. Teams showcased their incredible skill, and if the teams weren’t displaying their talent on the court, they were grabbing a sweet treat supplied by the volleyball moms and the JV team. Senior Night was bittersweet; varsity had an incredible win against Evergreen Charter, but it was also the beloved seniors Ciana, Ashley, Jackie, and Sophia’s last home game. The girls celebrated the night, eating a delicious dinner and saying tear inducing goodbye speeches to the seniors. The girls and their coaches had lots of fun and grew tremendously. Let's see if the Carle Place volleyball team can regain its title as Nassau County Champions!
