New York is as diverse as the (better) difference between New York and England. Come to New York and enjoy the melting pot of people and cultures. This proves New York is 'so good' that people from all over want to come.  

In New York, you have many more freedoms and rights. The first big one is religious freedom, which is crazy that it's not a freedom in England. Religious freedom means that you have the right to believe/practice whatever religion you want without being told otherwise. The main practicing religions in New York are Catholic and Jewish.  The population is 50% Dutch. 

Everyday life in New York depends on if you are a child or an adult. Children to go school and spend their free time playing games like jump rope. The adults work or tend the house and in their free time go to concerts, watch sports or play games.
