Other musical interests include playing drumset at his church and directing Second City Samba (Chicago's premier Community Samba School).  He has paraded in NYC for the Halloween Greenwich Village and also the Mission District in San Francisco, California.  In 2022 he performed with Mannheim Steamroller for their Red Tour where he played percussion, recorder, and the EWI.
