Our Vision

Clinton Elementary School is a part of the Chicago Public Schools Community Schools Initiative. Clinton’s vision is to enhance the academic and social emotional skills of all students, leading them to become positive contributors to a global society. As a Community School, we are proud to partner with a growing set of community organizations to provide educational, enrichment, and support services to students and families so that our children can be safe and stable in school, at home, and in the community.

Loyola Lead Partnership

As a Community School, we are proud to partner with Loyola University Chicago, to provide the Community Schools Initiative here at Clinton. Together we have a growing set of partnerships between our schools and community organizations to provide educational, enrichment and support services to students and families so that our children can be safe and stable in school, at home, and in the community.

Clinton School Social Media Request Process


Social Media requests are open to all community members! We encourage and welcome all interested to submit requests for any topics of interest. Please follow the below process to submit a request.


This process outlines the steps, time table, and content needed in order to complete a social media post on any or all of the three social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) used by Clinton School.


Social Media posting is managed by the Community Schools Coordinator and supervised by the School Principal. All school staff members, school teams, youth programs, adult/family group/ programs, community partners, ect are to complete this process:


  1. Identify what the desired post entails (written and media needs) as well as the desired post date.

  2. Four weeks prior to post date connect with the coordinator to ensure space on the publishing calendar

    1. No more than three posts can be supported per a week

    2. Post may be asked to coordinate, align, or merged with other things on the calendar to streamline engagement

    3. Depending on content Principal approval may be needed at this point, the Coordinator will advise

      1. *Please note this process does not promise the approval of a request

  3. A post date will be set with the coordinator

  4. HARD DEADLINE: Two weeks prior to the post date all written content and media are to be sent to the coordinator

    1. Ensure that any names are removed from student work

    2. Ensure that all photos of students have consent on file and send that along with the post

    3. The coordinator is unable to support the creation of requested posts

  5. The coordinator will submit all posts for the upcoming week to the Principal for final approval

  6. Upon approval the coordinator will work with the identified translation staff to get the post from English into Spanish and Urdu

  7. Post will be made between the hours of 8am-6pm on the designated post date
