We currently have many great tools and resources for you to use, check them out below and stop in and try something new today. The Makerspace is available all periods during the school day, as well as after school until 5:00 during the Studio 315 time.

Whats New in our Makerspace for the 2019-2020 School Year?

Buddah Boards

Live in the moment with the Original Buddha Board. With just a dab of water, each stroke of the brush appears like black ink on the surface. Hue Animation Studio

HUE Animation Studio contains everything that you need to create your own stop motion animation videos.

This all-in-one kit is perfect to encourage creativity, and imagination. Whether you're making a LEGO brickfilm with lasers and explosions; filming a claymation movie or watching a flower bloom using time-lapse photography, you can bring anything to life in minutes with the easy-to-use software.

Available Makerspace Resources

3D Printers

In ther Makerspace, there are multiple 3D printers. Students are encouraged to design something on the computer and then print it out to see their finished design. In addition, we also have a 3D scanner so students can create something , scan and print a copy of something. If you are new to 3D design, please make an appointment with Mrs. Martinec for to receive instruction using Tinkercad or Google Sketchup.

Lego Creation Station

Visit our library Lego Creation Station to build your own creations, participate in monthly Lego challenges, complete our Month of Lego Design Challenge, design your own lego mini figure or build something on our Lego wall. Click here for more information on all of these activities.

Items Available for Sign Out

The items listed below are available to use in the library Makerspace, there are additionally one or more of each that are available for sign out to be used at home as well. All items are available for a 1 week loan period.

Come in and explore the many great resources we have in our Makerspace. If there is something new you would like to see added, please stop at the library circulation desk and let us know and we will try to get it added for you.
