Booked for Lunch

Do you love to read and discuss books? If you do, come in and participate in our Booked for Lunch group. This event happens once a month-- bring your lunch to the library to talk books with other students and staff who also love to read too!

Next Booked for Lunch-- Thursday 12/19

*You can attend Booked for Lunch during your lunch/study hall period, you may not miss class to attend.

How to participate:

Sign up on the Form-- you need to be signed up by 3:00 2 days prior to the Booked for Lunch you want to attend. This will help us to make sure we have enough materials and treats for everyone :)
The morning of the Booked for Lunch you will receive a pass during your first period class.
The period that you have Lunch & SOAR study hall, get your lunch at the beginning of the period (at the beginning of the A half of the period) and bring it with you to the area outside the library (near guidance). Sign in to the Booked for Lunch attendance sheet, and will submit the sign-in to the attendance office so you will not be marked absent from SOAR study hall.
We will spend the period talking books. You can share about a great book you are currently reading or one that you love, get book suggestions from other readers, look for a new book to read from our library collection, etc.
Each Booked for Lunch will have book themed activities. We will also provide hot chocolate, tea or coffee and a dessert.

Booked For Lunch--December 19th

This month please bring a book to share with the group, it can be a book you are currently reading, a book you want to read, your favorite book, etc.
