Participate in our Read Around the World reading program throughout the 22-23 school year. To get started, stop in the library to pick up your reading passport and map.
How to Participate in Read Around the World:
Stop in the library and sign up to participate, you will receive your reading passport and a map to keep track of your progress.
Fill in the first page of your passport with your information.
Select your first book to read. If you need help finding a book, search Destiny Discover or SORA, or one of our library staff members can assist you.
Read the book at your own pace. When you have finished, fill in the information about your book on the next empty page in your Reading Passport.
Stop in the library and we will give you a stamp in your book and add the book you read to our map display in the library.
Select a new book and start the process over again.
Read as many books as you can throughout the school year, your goal is to read at least one book from each continent.
On the last Friday of each month September-May bring your lunch to the library and sit and meet with other students and staff who are participating in the Read Around the World reading program. Share about a book you are reading, get a book suggestion from other participants, or just spend a period talking books with other people who love them too!
At the end of the year we will have a celebration for all students who have participated in the Read Around the World library program.
