Fourth Grade Music Goals 2020-21: In Fourth Grade Music, my goal is to teach concepts through movement, listening, creating, and exploring. Our focus this year will be on social and emotional learning as well as triplet and sixteenth rhythms, ascending and descending scales, major and minor melodies, melodic ostinatos, note durations, writing notes and rests, instruments of the orchestra, playing and caring for a recorder instrument, improvisation, tempo changes, form, chords and harmony, singing in unison and parts, singing in canon form.
