First Grade Music Focus for 2020-21: In First Grade Music, my goal is to teach concepts through movement, listening, creating, and exploring. Our focus this year will be on social and emotional learning as well as singing and breathing, feeling meters of 2,3, and 4, Introduction to Lines and Spaces (Treble Clef), play and move to rhythm, melodic direction, sounds and rests, three basic tempos, and instruments of the orchestra.
