In February 2020, Saturday Art Club work was projected onto the old church at St Day as part of DiaspAURA, a three night celebration of light, art, music, community and heritage. The Day-Light Group invited us to submit our Australian and African work because it fitted in with the theme of Cornish Mining Diaspora , which celebrated Cornish mining ingenuity across the globe.
Our art work was included in a film of moving imagery made by local school and community groups. We were amazed to see our small paintings lit up so brightly and projected to such a large scale. Here are a few images taken from the moving film created by Four2Three Projections.
