This year, we continued the panel discussion with Q & A style presentation and stallholders.  The primary theme that evolved from the questions was around Advanced Health Directives, Voluntary Assisted Dying, legal issues after death and grief.  The panel speakers were:

• Rev Paul Clark will share his wisdom and experiences regarding loss, grief, and the spirituality of death and dying.

• Andy Coe, Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. This is your opportunity to learn more about creating comfort and dignity, support, and accessing advice on caring for your loved one through this life stage. 

• Kerrie Mendl, of Alteris Financial Group, helps families address the financial side of care with clarity, dignity, and care so that every transition is as smooth and supported as possible. 

• Sam Major, of Cornerstone Funerals, shares things to consider when planning life's final celebration. Options available to honour and celebrate life include a living wake, a service, a memorial, direct cremation, or a combination. 

• Kimberly Austin Sureplan Friendly Society, a co-sponsor of the day, will discuss how to securely put non-asset-tested funds away to pay for the funeral of your choice. 

• Kerri-Anne Dooley, owner of MyCare Enterprises, Kerri-Anne is our MC and shares the value of accessing services and resources to reduce the stressors of navigating the end-of-life phase.
