April 22nd-May 3rd - PTO Fundraiser - More information can be found below! :) The Fun Run will take place during PE on May 3rd.

April 29th-May 3rd - National Principal Week - We are lucky to have the best - Mrs. Sciba! 

May 3rd - All library books are DUE!

May 6th - May 10th - Teacher Appreciation Week

May 10th - Pets with a Mission - Pets with a Mission will spend some time in First Grade! Students will have the chance to read with / to the service dogs and learn more about their mission. Please be sure to have turned in your child's permission slip that was sent home in folders so they can participate!

May 17th - Financial Literacy Movie Celebration - We will be studying financial literacy this month! To help learn about saving/spending and needs/wants, we will be using "money" to reward attendance, good behavior/character, etc. Students will be able to use their money to purchase a ticket to a movie and treats to enjoy (if they have enough left over). If you'd like to help provide some movie snacks for the grade, please see the sign-up here.

May 17th - Cubs with Character Pep Rally - Citizenship - Wear PURPLE!

May 20th - Field Day - We are so excited to welcome you to join us for Field Day! If you plan to attend, please complete THIS RSVP FORM by May 17th. First Grade will participate in Field Day stations from 8:10-11:20. Please consider volunteering during Field Day, you can use this sign-up to secure your slot! 

May 22nd - End of Year Celebration - We hope you can join us as we celebrate an AMAZING year in first grade! We will have an ice cream party full of fun and awards on May 22nd at 1:30pm. If you plan to attend, please complete THIS RSVP FORM by May 20th. Your child's teacher will be in touch about the opportunity to help supply the needed items!

May 23rd - Last Day of School! - We have had a wonderful year learning and growing with your student(s). There will be early release on the last day of school. Dismissal will begin at 12:10 on this day.
