School attendance helps your child's overall academic success! Please send your child to school every day unless they are sick. We also encourage any doctor/dentist visit to be scheduled after school when possible. Thank you for your support!
There are many great resources that students can use at home! If you have any questions about the resources, please reach out to your student's teacher and they can help you!
For math the most important thing your child can work on is fact fluency and relating our current math topics to real-world applications.

For reading, reading nightly is crucial to our growing readers. You can use the book(s) they bring home or any book you have at home. If you want to work with them more, ask them questions about what they read to work on compression. Some good topics include character, setting, problem, solutions, theme, and character traits. Have them continue their writing skills at home as well. They can write about what they read or write a story. Encouraging writing will help them continue to grow academically and creatively!
