Holidays

If arrangements are made with a client to work on a holiday, a holiday rate will be agreed upon beforehand with the Field Manager. Holidays are as follows: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

**You are automatically disqualified for holiday pay if the following occur:

  • Calling off the day before or after the holiday
  • Requesting off for the day before or after the holiday
  • Calling off the weekend prior to a Monday holiday
  • Working more than 40 hours the week of the holiday

Contacting the Office or Your Manager After Hours/On Weekends/Holidays:

Please only call after hours when:

  • Any accident or injury occurs to you or a client while working.
  • You are in an accident on the way to work and will not be able to make it on time. Evidence will need to be shown to the office staff afterward.
  • You are in a situation that truly requires advice from us that cannot wait until normal working hours. When in doubt, call the on-call manager

Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

The office is closed on these annual holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day. July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday.


Payroll Policy

We are on a bi-weekly schedule for pay days. pay periods run from Sunday to Saturday. The pay days are bi-weekly Fridays.

Your options for receiving pay checks are as follows: mailed to your address on file, direct deposit, or office pick-up. If you choose to have your check mailed, it will be mailed on the Friday after the pay period ends. If you choose direct deposit, it will available on the Friday after the pay period. If you choose office pick up, you must notify the office before 5:00pm on Wednesday and checks are available at the office after 11:00am on the Friday after the pay period ends.

Please allow three business days for your check to arrive in the mail before contacting the office. Another check can be issued for a $40 stop payment fee. The $40 fee will only be waived under the following circumstances:

  • You notified your manager of an address change five business days prior to payday.
  • You notified the office to hold your check for office pick-up within the allotted time required.


Employee Incentives/Bonus Policy

Employees who do not call off, arrive on time to their client each day, and clock in and out as required will receive a $50 quarterly bonus. Quarters are January-March, April-June, July-September, and October-December. Consistently not clocking in or out correctly may result in loss of quarterly attendance bonus.

Employees who refer a new applicant who stays with the company for at least one month and works a minimum of 20 hours per week for a period of 30 days will receive a $25 bonus paid directly to their current pay check.

Employees who refer a new client who stays with the company for at least one month will receive a $25-$200 bonus paid directly to their pay check. Bonus rate depends on client’s weekly hours. Caregiver must notify Field Manager of new client referral prior to first shift to be eligible for the bonus.

This is the caregiver’s responsibility to track.

Each quarter, a manager will nominate a caregiver from their territory that has done an exemplary job, and that employee will receive $50 bonus.

There is a review process that takes up to a month. You will be notified of your eligibility after processing is completed.

Each quarter is as follows:

  • January 1-March 31
  • April 1-June 30
  • July 1-September 30
  • October 1-December 31
