  • Patient/Client Grievances
    • Your complaint or problem is important to Compati Home Care. Our goal is to assist clients in returning to their maximum level of functioning and to provide all services possible to help them stay at home in their usual and customary surroundings.
    • We will give full consideration to a problem or complaint and make an effort to resolve each issue in an agreeable manner. Compati Home Care will assure that you will have the opportunity to voice grievances and recommend changes in services and/or policies without discrimination, coercion, or reprisal regarding services in any manner from Compati Home Care.
    • If you feel that our staff has failed to follow our policies or has in any way denied you of rights, please follow the following steps without fear of discrimination or reprisal.
      • Notify Compati Home Care at (888) 311-2067.
      • If you still have a concern or complaint that we have not been able to address, you may contact the toll-free Home Care Hotline, which receives complaints, questions and/or comments about home care agencies in Pennsylvania. The Home Care Hotline number is: 1-800-254-5164 and the Pennsylvania Home Care Licensure and Compliance number is (717) 783-1379.
    • Most complaints can be solved at this level. They will take all information related to your complaint and begin an investigation immediately. You may expect a call back regarding the status or outcome of the investigation within one to two business days. You will be notified of any outcome regarding your complaint after the investigation is complete.
    • If you believe that satisfactory action has not been taken and your complaint cannot be resolved at the organizational level, or you have advance directive complaint, you may contact the Pennsylvania Department of Health at its toll-free hotline: 1-800-254-5164. Voicemail is available 24/7. Leave a message and your call will be returned by the next business day.
