D108 - Black Box Theatre
Karri Anderson is the Fine Arts Department Head and the UIL Coordinator at CHS. She directs the UIL One Act Play and sponsors both the UIL Theatrical Design and the UIL Film competitions. This year marks her 22nd year at Commerce ISD. Before teaching at CHS, she taught playwriting for three years at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX. Mrs. Anderson holds an Associate of Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and English, and a Master of Science in Theatre and Communications.
Mrs. Anderson teaches Theatre Arts 1, Theatrical Production, Children’s Theatre, and Theatrical Production 2. Additionally, she teaches two sections of dual credit THE 1310, one of which is for the Pride Prep program.
