Student Success Cards

Columbus City Schools provides each student with a picture ID known as the Student Success Card.

 CCS students use their card to:

• ✅ Swipe into the building using the bar code when arriving late or swipe out when leaving early

• 📚 Check out books from any Columbus Metropolitan Library branch.

• 🏛️ Log in to Clever / Classlink with the QR code

• 🚎 Ride public COTA busses across the city. (9th -12th grade students only)

Utilizing the Student Success Card has improved the efficiency of the attendance data collection process using kiosks. 

Rather than long lines of students entering names in a paper log and having the secretary hand-write a pass to class, students now use their badge to check in at the kiosk, grab a pass from the printer, and go right to class. 

NOTE:  If a student loses or damages their badge, the building secretary can print them a new one.
