The Contact Log records all instances of communication by school personnel regarding a particular student. This communication can be with the student, their guardians, or others, and could include letters or email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings.
Create a Contact Log Entry
Click New in the action bar to open a new log entry.
Change the Date and Time of the communication if desired. The current date and time will auto-populate.
Select the means used to communicate as the Contact Type.
Enter the person contacted as the Contact.
Enter any Details regarding the log entry, such as what was communicated, whether the contact was successful, etc.
Click Save in the action bar to save the entry and add it to the log above.
The Schedule tab allows users to view and print the student's scheduled courses in multiple formats. The student's schedule can be used to find where the student is during the day, to determine which courses the student should be taking in future years and to print the student's schedule.
All staff that utilize Scheduling modules in Infinite Campus are required to complete an annual knowledge assessment with and 80% or better score. All Infinite Campus Assessments must be taken yearly to maintain tool rights to enter data into Infinite Campus.
REMEMBER: You must complete ALL of the assessments required by your job role to retain the tool rights for all modules you have access to in Infinite Campus. Partial access will not be granted.
A transcript is a historical record of a student's performance in a course. Columbus City Schools records grading information that students receive on transcripts and report cards. Grading information is connected to the course schedule of a student.
