What is TurnUp?
TurnUp Activism is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing youth civic engagement to strengthen our democracy. TurnUp has registered 400,000 young voters since 2019.
About the Internship
Interns work in remote teams of mission-driven young people
from all around the country to help amplify youth civic
engagement and civic participation on the issues that you
care about including reproductive rights, criminal justice
reform, climate change, ending gun violence and stopping
voter suppression.
Internship Structure
Fully remote with optional in person activities
Flexible structure- start in any month - end any time!
High school, college, and graduate students can apply
Flexible time commitment - you choose between
5-30 hours/week
Hours can count towards community service or school credit

The Guest Services Seasonal Associate makes an impact by –
Ensures world class service is provided to every guest.
Must be pleasant and welcoming to all guests.
Must become familiar with all aspects of the Experience, including company history and facility layout.
Ensures that all area-specific tasks are completed.
Performs all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
Performs all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
Supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety & Quality.
Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.
The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required.
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis.
