The ASVAB test measures a person's strengths, weaknesses and potential for future success in military and civilian occupations. Test scores are broken down by the individual subtests and their composites. One of the most critical of these scores is the armed forces qualification test (AFQT), which is used to determine whether you are qualified to join the military service. Each service determines the qualifying AFQT score for enlisting in their service. AFQT scores can also be used to meet Act 158 Requirements for PA seniors.
Each year students will have the opportunity to take the ASVAB in school. The ASVAB will be held in the fall. Please see your School Counselor to register for the Exam.
